Job Description: PIFON exists largely for its members and providing services to its partners, the position of PIFON Finance Officer is a critical post that
feports to the Finance Manager and provides admin support to the rest of the PIFON Team. The post requires a person that can work in a small office
dynamic, be timely with payment scheduling and provide the logistical support backup to all Finance functions.
Tasks & Responsibilities include:-
(a) Accounts Payable functions from procurement to payments to monthly reconciliations.
(b) Payroll functions using ‘PayMaker’ software and using FNPF & FRCS portals for taxes and contributions.
(c) Manage the Fixed Assets Register.
(d) Assist the Finance Manager in finalizing documents in preparation for Annual Audits.
(e) Liaise with PIFON member Farmer Organisations towards finalizing donor acquittals.
(f) Manage all financial matters during PIFON hosted events (training, workshops etc.)
(g) Any other finance and admin work delegated by the Finance Manager.
- The successful candidate should have a tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or other related field, with
at least five years of relevant professional experience.
- Should have experience in logistics support & procurement.
- Should have previous experience working for a Donor Funded Organisation.
Contract period: 2 year with an opportunity for extension subject to project funding
Location: The PIFON Finance Officer will be based at the Nadi PIFON office.
