Supreme Fuel PTE Limited is one of Total Energies leading Service Station and Fuel Distribution Operator in Fiji. We have multiple years of partnership with Total Energies Marketing (Fiji) Pte Ltd along with several leading service stations and convenience stores throughout Fiji.

National Operations Manager – Retail & Commercial

Job Description:
The National Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring service stations are profitable and operating safely according to company-prescribed norms and standards. The position will provide direction, leadership, programs and initiatives to ensure the stations are in line with company standards pertaining to service and safety. The position will also oversee other lines of business of the company not limited to service stations including sales and marketing to achieve operational excellence and profitability in these prescribed fields as well. The position requires a strong understanding of business environment management, commitment, innovative thinking and a drive and dedication to continuous improvement with a specific focus on operational excellence to drive a culture in the company to always exceed a customer’s expectations.

Responsibilities:

Oversee, monitor and manage operations of the service stations and prescribed business lines
Ensure operations are carried out according to company-prescribed norms and standards and are in line with all relevant local requirements
Work closely with Managers to achieve optimal operations in the day-to-day running of Stations and mandated business lines
Plan and ensure regular onsite visits to audit and identify areas of improvement and provide a SWOT analysis report for cach visit
Ensure customer service standards are maintained at a consistently high level and customer issues are addressed and closed promptly
Implement and maintain a customer-centric focus on always exceeding customers’ expectations
Implement, monitor and continuously adapt recruitment policies to manage staff turnover
Ensure staffing policies are in line with local regulations and current market standards
Manage and maintain a positive relationship with suppliers, contractors and key stakeholders of the company
Ensure prescribed tasks and timelines mandated by the company are adhered to

Position Requirements

Previous management experience in a related field is an advantage
A bachelor’s degree in Business Management and at least 5 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, Retail Operations Management.
Thorough knowledge of operations in customer-facing roles particularly in the Retail industry
Proven leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to drive a team towards providing excellent customer service.
Knowledge of government regulations in relation to the operation of retail and commercial.
Delegate responsibilities effectively
Must have a valid driving license and a clean driving record
Good command of English (written and spoken) & High computer literacy
Safety Awareness and certification is an added advantage
This is a hands-on role with a myriad of tasks and responsibilities requiring a very organized and energetic candidate possessing prioritization skills, discipline and focus.
Successful candidates will be required to provide a police and medical clearance.
