Projects Manager

Responsibilities:

• Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
• Maintain the Fire & Life Safety Standards and Building Standards for various properties of Tappoo Group.
• Responsible for planning, implementation, coordination and management of all mechanical operations, maintenance, communications, energy management, and manpower allocations for all Tappoo properties.
• Oversee all maintenance & engineering related service agreements and service providers.
• Plan and execute all preventative maintenance programs such as mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire, life safety generators, security, access control, BMS, gen sets, plants & machinery and vertical transportation systems for all Tappoo locations (TappooCity – Suva & Lautoka, OTGL sites, KIA – Service/ Showroom, Warehouses, Hotel and resort shops, downtown stores, etc.).
• Oversee all maintenance programs relating to the interior and exterior conditions and appearance of various properties.
• Ensures that all site-specific documentation and reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Responsible for monitoring energy consumption, power, water & gas for all facilities and recommending energy saving initiatives where practical.
• Establishment and monitoring of programs to ensure compliance with related agencies such as NFA, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labor etc.
• Perform quality control on projects throughout development to maintain the standards.
• Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.

Requirements:

• A Trade Certificate or higher in engineering fields of mechanical, electrical, structural, welding or related discipline.
• Tertiary qualifications in Project Management and professional experience of at least 5 years.
• Following work experiences will be of advantage:

1. Managerial level experience in the above fields.
2. Project Planning – design, costing, implementing and handing over.
3. QA&QC in BMS and Constructions
4. International logistics and procurements  
5. Industrial and commercial HVAC systems.   
6. High level Knowledge and practical experience in building management.
7. Practical experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft applications including Project analysis and implementation

• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
