RECEIVING CLERK – Kokomo Resorts Ltd

RECEIVING CLERK

Kokomo Resort Pte Limited is seeking an experienced Receiving Clerk to be based at Kokomo Private Island, Kadavu.

Duties & Responsibilities

 All goods received should have proper documentation
 Receipt company items only in accordance with a grocery list, market list,
beverage list and purchase orders
 Must inspect incoming goods for quality, quantity, weight, price
 To prepare Receiving Record reports for any incoming goods
 To ensure all receiving records are prepared on original company invoices only
 Inform Purchasing Manager on partial deliveries from suppliers
 Attach Purchase Order and Receiving Record together with an invoice for the process to Accounts Department
 Attach a copy of the Purchase Order to all partial deliveries
 Prepare daily receiving summary and code correctly to respective departments
 Verify all Credit Notes
 Copy and file documents for record-keeping
 Prepare ‘Goods Returned Dockets’ for any item returned to the supplier
 Consult security for any late receiving and prepare receiving record accordingly
 Prepare a listing for all pending purchase orders not processed for payment during the month to the Accountant.
 Assist with Month-end Stocktakes, compile Stocktake Reports and forward the same to the Accountant

Qualifications & Attributes

 Excel – Intermediate-level skills
 Strong analytical skills
 Good communication skills/telephone skills/negotiation skills
 Knowledge of procurement procedures
 Well-groomed with an excellent Attitude is important
 Physically fit and an active/effective Team Player
 is able to work flexible hours
 is able to adjust to and work on an Island environment
 Is well versed with the Receiving procedures of a Resort
 Knowledge of Food Safety and Hygiene would be an added advantage
