Industrial and Marine Engineering Pte Limited (IMEL), a division of Carpenters Group of Companies, has an exciting opening for dynamic individuals to join IMEL for the Seat Fabricatorrole based in Walu Bay, Suva.

Responsibilities:

Fabricate and assemble bus seats according to specifications and blueprints
Cut, shape, and sew fabric, leather, and other materials for seat covers
Install padding, springs, and support structures in seat frames.
Operate various tools and machinery, including sewing machines, staple guns, and pneumatic tools
Measure and cut materials accurately to minimize waste.
Perform quality checks throughout the fabrication process

Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in seat fabrication, upholstery, or related field from bus industry
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Strong skills in sewing, cutting, and assembling various materials
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
