Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage Accounts Payable transactions.
- Verify invoices and ensure payments are processed accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate records of supplier transactions and payments.
- Respond to supplier queries regarding invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.
- Process and maintain accurate Payroll Records.
- Complete FNPF and PAYE lodgements in a timely manner.
- Prepare and lodge VAT Returns.
- Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and financial requirements.
- Perform Bank and Account Reconciliations.
- Assist with Month-End Reporting and Reconciliations.
- Maintain complete and up-to-date accounting records.
- Provide general Accounting and Administrative Support to the team.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accounting or finance position.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Experience using Fiji Payroll software is essential.
- Good knowledge of payroll processing, statutory compliance, and reconciliations.
- Good understanding and experience in Accounts Payable.
- Experience with FNPF and PAYE lodgements.
- Experience preparing and lodging VAT returns.
- Familiarity with the FRCS Portal.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
