Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available LAN, WAN, WLAN, and datacentre networks.
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex network & infrastructure incidents and problem management.
- Perform system integration activities across server, network, storage, and security platforms in both on-prem and hybrid environments.
- Perform regular patching, maintenance, and upgrades in line with approved change management processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure faults across multi-vendor environments.
- Deliver projects by adhering to ICT project management best practices, including documentation, change control, user acceptance testing, and post-deployment support.
- Lead vulnerability remediation activities and provide regular status and risk updates to senior IT leadership.
- Configure Microsoft enterprise services including Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, DHCP and Windows Server OS.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation including network diagrams, SOPs, as-built documentation, and operational records.
- Work collaboratively with vendors, internal teams, and customers to ensure successful end-to-end delivery of ICT projects.
Requirements
- Degree qualification in Computing Science, Networking, Information Systems, or a related field proven experience as technician or other customer support role.
- Have minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in ICT infrastructure deployment, system integration, and support.
- Hands-on experience with VMware, Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange, Fortinet, and Cisco technologies.
- Hold industry-recognized vendor certifications (e.g. Cisco, Microsoft, Fortinet and VMware).
- Demonstrate working knowledge in networking, server infrastructure, virtualization, and security systems.
- Proven ability to lead projects, manage vendors, and mentor technical teams.
