Key Responsibilities
- Support pavement asset management through condition monitoring and maintenance planning
- Conduct pavement condition index (PCI) surveys and monitor pavement deterioration
- Supervise pavement maintenance and rehabilitation works, ensuring quality and compliance
- Maintain and update pavement asset registers, site records, and technical reports
- Review contractor performance and workmanship on airfield maintenance works
- Assess risks and ensure strict compliance with airside safety, health, and environmental requirements
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to support safe and efficient delivery of works
- Prepare site sketches, minor design changes, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD
- Uphold and promote Fiji Airports’ values, professionalism, and organisational image at all times.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering OR a diploma-level qualification in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience in pavement engineering, pavement management, or infrastructure maintenance
- Practical knowledge of flexible and rigid pavement systems and rehabilitation techniques
- Experience in pavement condition assessment, data analysis, and technical reporting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and construction documentation tools
- Strong understanding of aviation safety and airside operational requirements
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
