Carpenters Motors, a division of Carpenters Fiji Pte Limited and a recognized leader in the Motoring Industry as well as authorised Mobil Lubricants distributor in Fiji, is seeking applications from interested candidates for the role of Forklift Operator to be based at Carpenters Motors – Lubricants Warehouse in Lautoka. FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, stack, and move automotive lubricant products.

• Handle drums, cartons, pallets, and bulk lubricant containers with care to prevent damage or spillage.

• Ensure proper storage of lubricant products in designated areas according to FIFO and safety guidelines.

• Assist with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles and containers

• Conduct daily forklift inspections and report mechanical issues immediately

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and work areas

• Follow spill control procedures and report leaks or hazardous situations promptly

• Support stock counting, inventory checks, and warehouse audits

• Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulation.

equirements:

• Valid Forklift Operator License

• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial environment

• Experience handling automotive lubricants, chemicals, or hazardous goods is an advantage

• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control

• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if required
